At only 15 minutes away Espanola is home to many ameneites including such things as a shopping mall, two grocery stores, a hospital, golf course, Northern Ontario's first salt water swimming pool, leisure complex with gym, library, ski hill plus the usual necessities of Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Wendy's and a Chinese Restaurant
